Happy Eid al Adha!

We hope that you and your family are blessed with love. Wishing you a blissful Eid al Adha.

Eid al Adha symbolizes faith, obedience, and submission to God. On this event all Muslims remember the prophets Ibrahim´s willingness to sacrifice his son when God ordered it. As Ibrahim prepared to fulfill the sacrifice, God intervened and provided a ram as a substitute.

Also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice“, Eid-Ul-Adha is one of the major Islamic holidays, celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It is considered the second most important festival in the Islamic calendar after Eid al-Fitr.

Muslims commemorate by sacrificing an animal, typically a sheep, goat, or camel, in a ritual known as Qurbani. The meat from the sacrificed animal is divided into three parts: one part for the family, one part for relatives and friends, and one part for the less fortunate.

The festival begins on the twelfth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and lasts anywhere between two and four days. Due to the fact the Islamic lunar calendar is approximately 10 to 11 days shorter than the Gregorian calendar, the dates of Eid-Ul-Adha vary each year.
