Due to the infinite possibilities of combining material properties, construction technology in composite construction leads to a much higher effect on the result than, for example, in steel and concrete construction. The possibility of targeted reinforcement in each area and the alignment of the fibres in the direction of loading offers the chance to save material in less stressed areas if, in combination with knowledge of the material properties, it is possible to determine the exact loads and directions.

The first step is to optimize the shape of the component:
- for the best production process
- to avoid high structural loads
- allowing the fiber to be aligned in the direction of the forces
 
Since we know the loads in each area of the component, we are able to place the sufficient amount of material in the right place with the fastest production method. This means:
- the chance to save material is high
- the reduction of production time can be enormous
- which in turn leads to lower installation costs
